The White House protocol office issued a fictional Form OCT-1 designating the UFC cage outside the mansion as “ceremonial infrastructure,” with folding chairs ranked by constitutional proximity to the snack table.

A short memo warned agencies not to confuse the weigh-in backdrop with the daily briefing lectern, after two departments submitted talking points in pounds.

“No one may filibuster from the blue corner,” the guidance noted.

The Senate liaison desk prepared contingency placards for “VIP,” “Supreme Court-adjacent,” and “Iran question, ask later,” while court reporters were assigned splash-zone credentials and a tiny bell.
